It’s been a while, but new year, new resolutions. (I prefer 320x200 by the way). Today in artist spotlight we have an artist who hasn’t featured yet on the NTT blog. Vulkari64 and his new track: Action Hero Supercar. Let’s see how it stacks up to its ambitious title.
A car roars from left to right in the intro to join the LFO-d bassline and some tasty echoed sequences in the background. The drum comes as an unassuming kick but then the action starts. The bass opens up a lot and the lead paves the way to the main lead: a guitar solo! It’s a very nice roller coaster from here with a very strong synth lead. The bridge is somewhat quieter, except the bass is still a strong drone with opened up filter and slowly all the isntruments are joining in: guitar, synth lead and we get some speech too but mainly the synth lead takes the …well, lead. In the end both the guitar and the synth lead makes a strong appearance to the finale where they end on a high - and fading out - note.
This is one of those energy packed fast paced tracks. It’s even perfect for workouts, jogging and - most importantly - driving.
