Artist spotlight: Neon Droid - Blood

blog-image

Sometimes there are days when maximum power is needed to let out the steam. The track Blood from Neon Droid is just the perfect companion to do that. Darksynth is a subgenre which is ready to be summoned whenever there is a situation.

It all starts with the cover art: A monster-like creature vomits lava from one of its orifices. No messing around, gets straight to the point - and that’s just the artwork.

The track starts quietly although the distant drone already makes a strong statement of what is expected. We get a hint of the remote howls and cries then layer by layer we get the fully unleashed fury.

Like if it was unstoppable, constantly hammers us with massive sneaking blows, accompanied with whispering voices, filling up every part of the void. Somehow it still manages to stay between the lines though and keeps delivering a constant stream of energy.

It’s a nice piece from Neon Droid with good arrangement and well thought presentation. Available at most major music distribution services, give it a listen if you need your dark energy fix. You won’t regret it.
